AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, December 1st 2017 - Aquastrength of Aqua Group today announced it's plan to move the manufacturing of their drag resistance equipment to the United States in 2018.

The Directors of Aquastrength have made the strategic decision to shift to the United States to better cater for the international demand. They have chosen to re-locate to San Diego where their sister company, Aqualogix currently operates from. This will allow for a consolidated manufacturing process where both ranges of drag resistance equipment will be produced by their long term manufacturing partner there, Advance Plastics.

Aquastrength has been operating from Auckland, New Zealand and working with RPM since 2014. Together they won an award for their patented Aquatic Fin Design in 2015. The relocation to San Diego will take place over the next 2 months. Making this change will mean faster, and more affordable shipping rates for all of their American customers.

As a result of this change, with effect from 1 January 2018, Aquastrength CEO Troy Elliott has made the decision to step down, however will remain as a consultant to the company.

Robert Mitchell will take care of Sales and Distribution from San Diego and Jane Hosking will continue as Marketing Director for Aquastrength whilst also assuming the Marketing role for Aqualogix.
